Aged in wood and undosed (Brut Nature 0 g\/L), this cuvée intensely expresses the richness of its grape variety and the uniqueness of its clay-limestone terroir.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe year 2020 in Champagne was marked by a sunny, dry summer, resulting in grapes of exceptional ripeness. The Pinot Meunier from Villers-Allerand offered generous, concentrated fruit with remarkable natural balance. These are among the world’s greatest terroirs for growing Champagne grapes, and they have been brilliantly matched chez Maillart to Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Petit Meslier in order to extract the best qualities of each grape for both his blended multi-vintage Champagnes and his single-vineyard-vintage bottlings.
