Harvest September 10 to October 11, 1 to 2 weeks later than normal. The cooler, longer vintage allowed the Mourvèdre component to ripen fully before harvest.

Lightly crushed, 2 to 3 hours skin contact only. The addition of a Benchland Mourvedre block and the decision to divert Creekside Mourvèdre from red wine production, made possible by the cool season's delayed ripening, produced what the producer describes as their most Bandol-style vintage in years.

Unti Vineyards was established by George Unti in 1997 in Dry Creek Valley, focusing exclusively on estate-grown Mediterranean varieties. Mick Unti and winemaker Jason Valenti now lead the operation. Biodynamic practices introduced 2004, organic farming across the 60-acre estate. The Vermentino program draws on Provençal and Ligurian clones, reflecting the estate's commitment to sourcing plant material directly from the variety's Mediterranean origins. The winery describes its approach to Vermentino as modeled on Fabio Lambruschi of Colli di Luni: clean, precise, traditional, with all fermentation and aging in stainless steel and no malolactic conversion.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0754/3206/7378/files/1_32ede371-ba71-488a-bbf4-b5c6267fd59a.webp?v=1788478126
