The eye is a clear, deep amber-red. The intense, complex nose offers vinous, spicy, herbaceous scents of laurel, rhubarb, gentian, vanilla, and citrus peel. The palate is fresh, sweet, powerful, and savory, with distinct notes of ginger, laurel, vanilla, and rhubarb. The finish is long and persistant.

In 2016 Vittorio Zoppi and Filippo Antonelli founded Antica Torino in Turin to produce and rediscover traditional Piedmont flavored wines, liqueurs, and spirits, using ancient family recipes.
This is a traditional vermouth recommended for mixing in old-fashioned and modern drinks. Containing no juniper, angelica, or other classic gin botanicals, it combines seamlessly with a classic London Dry Gin. It works in great harmony with bourbon or rye whiskies, lending a sweet, warm, and herbaceous character. Stellar with brandy, this too is wine-based, and its great with herbaceous liqueurs and traditional amaro liqueurs.
The Americano is one cocktail that best brings out the characteristics of this outstanding vermouth, either in the classic recipe with two parts vermouth and one of bitter, or one-to-one, as suggested by the famous Florentine barman Luca Picchi.
It’s an excellent ingredient for other classic mixed drinks like Martinez, Boulevardier, Negroni, Bronx, El Presidente, Hanky-Panky, and Manhattan. The most immediate use is with ice, a sprig of rosemary, and lemon or orange twist.
Our vermouth is made exclusively with natural ingredients and alcohol.
