Using only natural, local ingredients and the most careful methods, Dad's Hat is distilled, farm to bottle, in Pennsylvania - the birthplace of Rye Whiskey - in honor of that wonderful, optimistic time in America's history when we made things "the right way". Our Straight Rye Whiskey starts with a sweet mash of 80% rye grain and 20% malt, no corn, and is matured in 53 gallon charred, white oak barrels. The result is a well-balanced Pennsylvania Style Rye Whiskey with plenty of depth, complexity and a long finish. Simply delicious.
