This chardonnay comes from vineyards managed with a very non-interventionist hand; the grapes ferment spontaneously in whole bunches for eight days, then age in steel. Unfiltered and unfined, it is an extremely elegant, vivid, and well-articulated white.

Slightly skinsy, it's a wine of waxy, pithy texture best enjoyed alongside something from the sea.

Straw yellow, with golden reflections. On the nose stand out citrus hints of lime and grapefruit, notes of pineapple and tones of green tea and chalk. On the palate it is agile and has pleasant minerality.

Drink Wines, Not Labels, was born in 2019 in Montelupo Albese, in the heart of the Langhe, 50 meters beyond the boundaries of the Barolo denomination. It all starts from Alessandro Salvano and one of his reflections: "In recent years I have often asked myself whether it still makes sense to imagine such defined borders for these territories, whether the geographical lines drawn over 40 years ago really determine the quality of a product in the contemporary context.”
