The vines are planted on adjoining plots at Gamino Vineyards in Mendocino. The Chardonnay was picked first, direct pressed, barrel fermented. Meanwhile, the Merlot was destemmed & left on skins for 4 days, then lightly pressed to barrel. Brought back together and blended before bottling, this wine is kinda like chilling in a glittery red quartz cave where all your friends are already there drinking a bottle.
