Reductive and aromatic on the nose, with earthy minerality, blackcurrants, freshly ground black pepper, and violets. Vibrant on both nose and palate. Medium-bodied, with ripe tannins, refreshing lifted acidity, and a supple finish of bright blueberries and black olives.

100% Teroldego. Vigneto Morei, Campo Rotaliano, Mezzolombardo. Pebbly, sandy alluvial soils deposited by the Noce River. Warmer and stonier than the adjacent Sgarzon plot, with more sunlight and less cooling from the Tovel mountain breeze. 2.5 hectares. Vines planted 1989 and 1996. Demeter certified biodynamic since 2009. Morei means "dark" or "moro" in the Trentino dialect, referencing the grape's deep color.

Destemmed whole berries. Fermented and aged on skins for 8 months in 420-480 litre terracotta amphorae from Villarrobledo, Spain. Transferred to old oak for a further period before bottling. No fining, no filtration. Demeter certified biodynamic.

The Morei is the warmer, darker, and more structured of Foradori's two amphora-aged Teroldego wines. The Sgarzon comes from sandy, cooler soils closer to the mountains and produces a more perfumed, red-fruited style. The Morei comes from the stonier, sunnier parcel and produces darker fruit, more grip, and greater aging potential. The 2023 vintage is described across multiple sources as cooler and more delicate than recent years, with finer tannins and more lifted aromatics than the denser 2022.
