A touch of bramble joins aromas of pineapple and peach. There's a nice savory herbal note and a hint of eucalyptus just beneath grapefruit, mango and passion fruit flavors nested within a layer of shimmering acidity. – Mike DeSimone

Variety: Albariño 100%

Appellation of Origin: Rías Baixas, subzone Ribeira do Ulla

Winemaking: Destemmed and pressed grapes, going through cold maceration to produce increased intensity of primary aroma typical of the variety. The winemaking process includes low fermentation temperature to accomplish secondary aromas and finally it goes through a maturation in lees for nine months in stainless steel containers.

Tasting: Clear, bright, pale yellow color with hints of gold. Strong tear. Highly intense, fruity, and flowery aromas with hints of apple, pear, grapefruit, and aromatic herbs. Easy to drink, fresh, tasty, with an elegant creaminess of the lees, balanced and persistent with fruity shades. Great wine with strong personality.

Envero means veraison.  In his off time, Miguel (he goes by Manyo) surfs the cold waters off the Galician coast.  So he has waves on his mind.  One day while looking out over the rolling green vineyards during the time of Veraison, he was reminded of the ocean and sets of waves coming in. Thus, Mar de Envero.  Sea of Veraision. 

They currently farm 6.5 HA of vineyards and produce 2 wines.  The Mar de Envero is the wine that Miguel started this winery in order to make.  It is 100% Albariño with a little skin contact and extended lees aging.  The Troupe is a classic version of Albariño.   Both are very pure and acid driven wines that speak of the ocean.
