Nose of Fresh lemon zest, vanilla pods, honeyed malt, light coastal smoke, and subtle oak spice. The palate offers creamy toffee, green apple, malted barley, cracked pepper, and warming peat influence. A long, dry, complex finish with lingering citrus oils, oak tannins, and maritime salinity.

The Kilkerran 8 Year Old Cask Strength Bourbon 2026 Release is a highly sought-after Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at a powerful 57.7% ABV and matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon barrels. Distilled at the legendary Glengyle Distillery, this limited annual release showcases Kilkerran’s signature style in its most natural and uncompromising form.

Bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill filtered, and with no added colour, this 8 year old single malt delivers exceptional depth, intensity, and authenticity. The bourbon cask maturation enhances Kilkerran’s distinctive oily, coastal character, balancing vibrant citrus, vanilla sweetness, and gentle peat smoke.

The Kilkerran 8 Year Old Cask Strength Bourbon 2026 Release is a must-have for Campbeltown whisky collectors, fans of cask strength Scotch, and drinkers seeking a bold, character-driven single malt. With limited availability and growing demand worldwide, this release is ideal for both drinking and long-term collecting.

When the doors opened at the Mitchell's Glengyle Distillery in March of 2004, it became the first new distillery to open in Campbeltown in more than 125 years. Once the center of whisky production for Scotland, Campbeltown had been hit hard over the last century and dwindled down to two distilleries - Springbank and Glen Scotia. When the SWA threatened to take away the Campbeltown appellation, Springbank was told a region needed at least three distilleries to consider itself a specific locale. The decision was then made to reopen the long-dormant Glengyle distillery located immediately next door to Springbank. Kilkerran is the name that was chosen for the single malt produced at Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery, because the name Glengyle is already used for a blended Highland malt and they wished to avoid any possible confusion between the newest single malt to come from the Campbeltown region and a pre-existing blended Highland malt.
