The Dócil is the result of our search for a Vinho Verde which reflects the region’s terroir, with a balanced and well-rounded character, and whose vinification relies on the vibrant acidity of the Loureiro grape variety. This Loureiro stems from its traditional home, the Lima Valley, and is produced from vines growing in granitic soils. The aromatic profile of this grape is beautifully expressive, with predominant floral and mineral aromas.

The 2023 harvest saw the Loureiro variety maintaining freshness and perfect balance. Whole bunches were pressed gently, then the must was left to settle before fermenting at a low temperature.

This Dócil is a white wine from the Vinho Verde region, showing a typically elegant aromatic profile. The nose reveals floral notes and citrus aromas, with hints of tropical fruits. The structure is delicate and straight forward, the acidity is long and lingering finishing almost spicy.

This is a consistent performer wine which beautifully shows the tepidity of its grape varietal as well as the region. Great to have with Sushi, Indian, or Thai cuisines.
