Beautifully balanced with dark fruit, savory wild herbs, and delicate floral notes. The palate shows vibrant red berries and graphite-like minerality. Silky yet structured, bright acidity and chalky tannins linger through the long finish.

This Pinot Noir comes from Besson Vineyard located on highway 152 on the eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains in the Santa Clara Valley AVA. The vineyard is farmed organically by George Besson who is the second generation farmer on the property. The 30-year-old Pinot Noir vines consists of 667/777 clones.

100% whole cluster, twice daily punch downs with native yeast fermentation. Elevage in neutral barrels for 18 months on lees.

Unfined and unfiltered.
