100% Syrah from a combination of 4 separate vineyard blocks. It is very reminiscent of our first Petit Frere in 2002, which is remarkably alive today. The long cool growing season was followed by dry moderate harvest weather resulting in extended hang time for the fruit, which rendered darker, more intense fruit and great tannic structure.

2023 is being heralded as one of the great vintages of the past 20 years, and this one is off the charts - ready to enjoy every day and for many years to come, as it has the structure to age well through 2031 and beyond.
