Agave cooked in stone/masonry ovens; crushed by tahona and roller mill; fermented with and without fibers in wood (pipones) and stainless steel tanks; double-distilled in copper and stainless steel pot stills.

Zumbador is produced at Destileria El Sabino (NOM 1643) in Jesús María, in the highlands of Jalisco, under the direction of Roberto Lopez Anaya, a fourth-generation agave grower, who oversees every stage of production. 

The Lopez family has been growing agave in Jalisco for four generations. El Sabino has 1,000 acres of land with 1.5 million agaves planted. They focus on perfecting cultivation and distillation techniques that shine through every bottle.
